Vancouver’s Taleeb Noormohamed named Parliamentary Secretary to Canadian Heritage Minister


Vancouver Granville Liberal MP Taleeb Noormohamed was named parliamentary secretary to Canadian Heritage Minister Pascale St-Onge on Friday, September twenty third, 2023.

Taleeb Noormohamed has deep roots in Vancouver and a confirmed document of neighborhood service.

Noormohamed established a mentorship program for at-risk youth at Covenant Home Vancouver and serves on its board and on the board of Lion’s Gate Hospital.

His dedication to volunteerism and neighborhood growth was acknowledged in 2007 when he was awarded the Governor Normal’s Caring Canadian Award, and once more in 2013, when he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.     

Taleeb holds a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton College, a Grasp’s diploma in Worldwide Schooling Coverage from Harvard College and attended Oxford College for his doctoral research as a Commonwealth Scholar.
